04.20: The President of the FCU makes a global announcement that Ulysses will impact Earth. He also announces plans to counter it.

: Richard Payne, the head of the FCU Department of Defense, orders all personnel under FCU command to temporarily return home.

: FCU Secretary of State Stateson explains to UTO headquarters how a National Missile Defense (NMD) system could be used to protect against the asteroid's impact and seeks the understanding of the allied
nations.

: An assassination attempt is made on the President of Osea.

1997

05.30: Rebellion breaks out.
A coup d'état is carried out all across Usea. Unified Command defeats rebel forces thanks to the efforts of Scarface 1.

06.19: The FCU completes Stonehenge in a desert region of the neutral country San
Salvacion.

: Former top pilots from the Belkan Air Force are hired by various countries and work as aggressor squadrons. The Erusean Air and Space Administration begins development of the X-02.

07.29: The International Astronomical Union's (IAU) official monthly damage estimate for the impact of the asteroid Ulysses is revised to include the possibility of fragments falling on the eastern portion of the Anean continent.

09.20: Construction of a Ulysses evacuation shelter begins in the castle in the capital of Emmeria.

1999

07.08: Ulysses passes through Earth's Roche
limit.

09.16: The Osean Maritime Defense Force aircraft carrier Kestrel goes into commission.

10.08: Osea and Yuktobania cooperate to convert the Arkbird into a platform for clearing satellite orbits of debris.

2000

01.10: Emmeria enacts an aid program to help Estovakia recover from Ulysses.
Assistance is later frozen due to delayed infrastructure repairs, chronic material shortages, as well as conflicts and looting by certain military factions.

03.20: Osea, Emmeria, and other nations join in economic sanctions against Estovakia, citing internal corruption.

SUMMER: Erusea invades the neutral country of San Salvacion.
Erusea seizes Stonehenge and begins using its railguns as anti-air batteries.

08.22: The President of the FCU demands Erusea withdraw from the railgun complex and San Salvacion.

: FCU President Robert Sinclair establishes the ISAF.

09.14: The ISAF is defeated by Stonehenge's ability to control the air and is forced back to Los Canas.

02.19: Emmeria discontinues aid for the LUF's reconstruction program due to the LUF's suppression of all opposition.

09.23: Unidentified aircraft appear in Cape Landers, Osea. The Osean Air Defense Force's Wardog Squadron engages, but only two aircraft survive.

09.24: An unidentified SR-71 reconnaissance plane appears in Osea. A Coastal Defense Force surface-to-air missile hits it.

09.27: Wardog Squadron engages unidentified aircraft.

: Yuktobania declares war on Osea and attacks Port Saint Hewlett. The Circum-Pacific War begins.

09.30: The Scinfaxi, the first of Yuktobania's Scinfaxi-class submarines, sees its first use in war.

12.07: Peter N. Beagle and Albert Genette help Wardog Squadron members suspected of espionage flee aboard training aircraft, but all are shot down by Captain Marcus Snow, who was in an F-14A assigned to the aircraft carrier Kestrel.

12.09: Osean Federation President Harling is rescued from imprisonment at Stier Castle in the Principality of Belka.

: Razgriz Squadron is formed and serves directly under the President of the Osean Federation.

12.19: The Arkbird, carrying a nuclear weapon, uses friction to maneuver into the atmosphere to make an attack on the Yuktobanian city of Okchabursk.

: The Arkbird is shot down by Razgriz Squadron.

12.23: Seryozha Viktrovich Nikanor, former Prime Minister of the Union of Yuktobanian Republics, who was imprisoned by the Yuktobanian military, is rescued.

05.09: Emmeria discontinues aid for Estovakia's reconstruction.

2013

01.15: The Eastern Faction and LUF clash. The superior numbers of the LUF are overwhelmed by the Eastern Faction's new weaponry and elite aviation units, resulting in a loss of 80% of its territory in one week.

10.29: The LUF continues to fight, but suffers a major loss near the border with Emmeria in which General Lyes is killed, and the Estovakian Civil War ends.

11.25: Estovakian Foreign Minister Isaac Arensky (former air marshal of the Northern Highlands Faction) is left unconscious in a sudden attack. One week later, fifteen former LUF soldiers are arrested for the crime.

12.02: Foreign Minister Arensky dies, but this information is withheld from the public.

12.23: Talisman joins the Republic of Emmeria Air Force.
He is assigned with defending the skies over Gracemeria, the capital of Emmeria.

2014

02.03: The death of Estovakian Foreign Minister Arensky is made public, and Antonina Koznick (a former captain in the Eastern Faction navy) is named as his successor.

02.04: An armed force of former LUF members attacks a temporary storage facility for relief supplies in the western Estovakian city of Vistoc.

ACE COMBAT 6: Fires of Liberation

2015

04.21: Yuktobanian spy satellites spot a massive aircraft signature near the southeast coast of Estovakia.

06.10: Ed Alverez is assigned command of the Gavial tank battalion.
Hostilities break out immediately after the assignment, and the battalion is put in charge of a defensive line of cities amid the confusion.

08.30: Estovakian forces begin an invasion of Gracemeria, the capital of the Republic of Emmeria.

: Base and carrier air squadrons are unable to counter the heavy command cruiser Aigaion, and Estovakian forces seize Gracemeria.
Emmerian forces decide on a retreat to western Anea. The Emmeria-Estovakia War breaks out.

09.12: Freddie Durand, call sign Avalanche, becomes flight leader of the 2nd Strike Fighter Squadron.

11.xx: Witnesses see multiple giant fireballs attacking Emmerian forces as they retreat in multiple locations.

11.14: Estovakia sends a large formation of bombers toward the city of Vitoze on Khesed Island. Remaining Emmerian forces based at Campagna Airport succeed in intercepting them.

11.27: Aiming to retake Khesed Island, Emmerian ground forces break through the Estovakian front line base at Sipli Field.

12.27: Bartolomeo Fortress falls. Emmerian forces establish full control of Khesed Island.

2016

01.26: Emmerian land, air, and sea forces make a successful landing offensive at Rargom Beach on the western edge of Anea and establish a bridgehead.

02.12: Emmerian ground forces move east along the Selumna Peaks.

02.15: Emmerian forces capture Cavallia Air Force Base located in San Loma.

02.20: The Emmerian Air Force attacks and destroys the Aerial Fleet, restoring air superiority to Emmerian forces.

03.06: Emmerian forces make a decisive strike on Ragno Fortress in Grageo Canyon.

03.25: A large-scale battle between Emmeria and Estovakia breaks out in the Moloch Desert. Estovakian forces retreat.

03.26: Emmerian forces assault the mining city of Fort Norton. Estovakia is prevented from transporting catalysts for weapons of mass destruction.

03.31: Emmerian forces undergo an operation to liberate Gracemeria which ends in success.

: That night, a large number of cruise missiles are fired at the city, but are shot down in midair by patrolling fighters.

04.01: Emmerian forces destroy the Chandelier on Sonne Island.

: Gustav Dvornik, one of the main architects of the invasion of Emmeria, dies.

: There is an antigovernment coup in Estovakia, leaving their forces unable to fight, which leads to a ceasefire agreement.

ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN

2019

05.15: Terrorist strikes by drones occur at four major naval ports in Osea.

: On the same day, the Kingdom of Erusea declares war on the Osean Federation. Erusean forces capture the International Space Elevator.
The Lighthouse War begins.

05.17: Osean forces work with the IUN Peacekeeping Force in Operation Eastern Wind.

: The advance into Erusean-held territory begins.

05.30: A two-pronged offensive is made in an attempt to secure Chopinburg airspace and attack the Erusean capital of Farbanti.

: The aircraft carrier Kestrel II, a cornerstone of the attack on Farbanti, is sunk. The offensive ends in failure.

06.06: Osean forces attempt to rescue former president Vincent Harling from the space elevator.

: The former president is caught in an attack during the operation and dies.

08.10: Osean forces form the Long Range Strategic Strike Group in hopes of ending the war quickly.

08.19: Osean forces reactivate one of Stonehenge's anti-asteroid batteries and shoot down the Arsenal Bird Liberty.

09.19: Osean forces begin an attack on Farbanti.

: An operation to destroy military satellites cuts off network communications across the entire Usean continent.

10.01: The autonomous state of Shilage and other small nations annexed by the Kingdom of Erusea declare independence.

: The Erusean government refuses to recognize their independence, resulting in internal conflict.

10.10: Erusean conservative General Édouard Labarthe is killed by Osean forces.

10.31: Osean and Erusean forces clash near the space elevator. The Arsenal Bird Justice is shot down.

12.01: Osea and Erusea sign a ceasefire treaty at the Expo City Conference.

ACE COMBAT X: Skies of Deception

2019

XX.XX: The Leasath Civil War comes to a close after 10 years of fighting.

2020

10.XX: Leasath declares war against the Federal Republic of Aurelia, citing years of exploitation as just cause for their aggression. Leasath launches an invasion, leveraging the devastating and destructive power of the Gleipnir aerial fortress, catching Aurelia completely off guard. The entire country falls under the control of Leasath, save for Aubrey Base in the remote southwest.

10.XX: Aurelia's Gryphus Squadron successfully repels an attack on Aubrey Base by the Leasath air force.

11.XX: Aurelian forces successfully reclaim Port Patterson.

11.XX: Aurelian forces gain the means to disable Gleipnir's stealth capabilities and manage to shoot down the flying fortress. The key transport hub of Santa Elva is liberated on the same day.

12.XX: Aurelia launches a daring assault to reclaim their largest airbase, Sachana Air Base, located in the Raven Woods. The operation is a success.

XX.XX: Aurelian forces retake Griswall, Aurelia's capital. Meanwhile, Leasathian forces march away from the mainland and regroup at Archelon Fortress, which doubles as a military stronghold and a weapons manufacturing plant.

12.XX: Archelon Fortress is destroyed, thanks to Gryphus Squadron's efforts. Leasath's commanding officer and chief orchestrator of the conflict, Diego Navarro, is removed from office, and the war comes to a close.

XX.XX: General Resource launches a new military development project (codenamed Darkness of Enigma, or DOE).

XX.XX: Former USEA assembly member Gabriel W. Clarkson is made a voting member of the Neo United Nations (NUN).

XX.XX: Rena Hirose's piloting skills draw the attention of General Resource, who recruit her to take part in a project involving a procedure that enhances the abilities of pilots.

XX.XX: General Resource operatives plant a bomb inside a DOE military research facility. Researcher Yoko Martha Inoue and pilot Abyssal Dision are killed upon its
detonation.

2031

XX.XX: Gilbert Park of General Resource is transferred to UPEO.

2032

XX.XX: General Resource releases Data Swallow, a device with an integrated browser for accessing the Electrosphere. This quickly becomes the standard OS around the world.

2033

XX.XX: General Resource announces the suspension of the DOE project.

XX.XX: Neucom Incorporated rapidly expands their market share through network infrastructure initiatives, a product of its space development initiative. They become one of the planet's largest corporations.

2035

XX.XX: Neucom unveils the results of its nanotechnology research and begins conducting trials, dispersing nanomachines in several remote regions. There are reports of damage in all of these areas.

2036

XX.XX: A control system within a General Resource geodesic dome goes haywire, sparking economic conflict between General Resource and Neucom.

2037

XX.XX: Gabriel W. Clarkson is appointed representative of the Universal Peace Enforcement Organization.

2039

XX.XX: Neucom completes construction on the ocean-borne city of Megafloat.

2040

XX.XX: General Resource releases Data Swallow Ver. 3.2.2.
UPEO forms the Special Armed Response Force (SARF).

XX.XX: A General Group flight squadron holds training exercises in Meriton airspace.

: Tensions between General Resource and Neucom come to a head, erupting into an armed conflict later known as the Faith Park Dispute.

XX.XX: Neucom begins large-scale military operations against General Resource.

XX.XX: Gilbert Park is given full command of all UPEO peacekeeping operations.

XX.XX: Peacekeeping forces led by the Neo United Nations and UPEO's special air unit, SARF, manage to bring the Faith Park Dispute under control.

XX.XX: UPEO representative Clarkson proposes talks at Snider's Top in an effort to resolve the conflict between the two corporations.

XX.XX: Joint aerial training is held between UPEO and General Resource. During the training exercise, Neucom is discovered to be conducting an unauthorized chemical dispersion trial within General Resource airspace. A mixed response team is rapidly formed from the training units to prevent the chemicals from contaminating the environment.

XX.XX: SARF shuts down a Neucom attempt to amass a mobile naval fleet at the ocean-borne city Megafloat.
Negotiations led by representative Clarkson lead to a ceasefire deal between General Resources and Neucom.

XX.XX: General Resource plots an attack against Neucom in secrecy, in an attempt to exploit a loophole in the ceasefire agreement—effectively nullifying the deal.

XX.XX: General Resource begins pushing towards Neucom bases. SARF eliminates the advancing units to prevent an escalation of hostilities.

XX.XX: An airship appears over the coastal industrial city of Axel Bay. A communication from an unknown party reveals it carries a highly lethal biological payload.

XX.XX: Representative Clarkson secretly flies to Cape Rainy aboard his personal craft to negotiate a ceasefire.

XX.XX: Aldair Carlos Nascimento, CEO of General Resource, dies of acute heart failure.

XX.XX: General Resource company housing in Expo City is bombed by what appear to be Neucom-model strike craft. There are numerous civilian casualties, including company executives and their families.

XX.XX: Although physically deceased, Abyssal Dision lives on as a digital copy of himself. He founds Ouroboros, a transhumanist organization seeking a digital consciousness for all humanity, and stages a coup.

XX.XX: In response to the coup, Neucom, General Resource, and UPEO agree to an immediate ceasefire.
They form an ad-hoc alliance to root out and apprehend terrorists lurking within their own organizations.
